Zachary Aiman joined RHA this past summer to support the agency’s financial operations. This is Zachary’s first full-time job out of college, and he’s excited to begin his professional career with RHA.

Originally from Long Island, New York, Zachary has lived in North Carolina for the past 18 years. After earning a degree in accounting, he’s been able to apply what he learned in school while gaining a deeper understanding of how accounting works in the real world. He recognizes that accounting is more than just numbers—it’s about understanding the complexities of debits, credits, expense coding, and the unique challenges that come with managing finances in an organization like RHA. Zachary appreciates the opportunity to learn from others with more experience and values the guidance he receives from his coworkers, whether it’s advice on work or life.

Since starting here, he has enjoyed the supportive and collaborative environment, where everyone is approachable and easy to talk to, including managers and the CEO. One thing that stood out to him about RHA is the strong sense of community—people genuinely know each other, and relationships are built on trust and respect. This personal connection is something Zachary values and is excited to be a part of in his new role.

Outside of work, Zachary enjoys spending time with friends and family, hitting the gym, and relaxing. He’s especially appreciative of having more “me” time now that he no longer has the pressure of school projects in the evenings. Zachary enjoys the balance he has found between his professional life at RHA and his personal time, and he’s looking forward to continuing to grow in his role while contributing to the mission of RHA.

Zachary is excited about his future at RHA and grateful for the opportunity to start his career in a place where he feels supported, valued, and part of a team dedicated to making a difference in the community.
