Raleigh Housing Authority is establishing new site-based waiting lists for newly awarded project-based voucher contracts. Applications on RHA’s Housing Choice Voucher waiting list will be automatically added to all new site-based, project-based voucher waiting lists. Applications will be added based on the date and time of the original housing application. Available properties will be added to RHA’s website as contracts are awarded.
Applicants who do not wish to keep their name on these new waiting lists must notify the Agency to remove their application from this list. Qualifications for PBV applicants include:
- Households must income qualify by having an annual income that falls within established income limits (0-50% AMI).
- Households must meet citizenship/eligible immigrant status.
- Households must meet criminal and credit screening criteria listed in the Administrative Plan and the property’s Tenant Selection Plan.
No one will be discriminated against based on protected class status including race, color, age, religion, sex, familial status or disability.
