VI.   NOT AT HOME INSPECTIONS:

1. The inspector normally will leave a door hanger or business card if the tenant is not at home for their annual/renewal inspection.
2. The Inspection Division will reschedule a second inspection normally within 15 calendar days.  A notification letter will be sent to the tenant and a copy to the owner or owner’s representative.
3. If the tenant is not home the second time, the Inspection Division will notify the Leased Housing Section 8 Office of two missed inspections within one year. The Occupancy Specialist will send a termination letter to the tenant.
